Through the Purple Academy, Star University will help invest in underprivileged women in India. Give them the opportunity to start their own business. That way they can generate enough income to provide for themselves and their families.

GIVE A MICROGIFT
A microgift is a relatively small amount of money, approximately €500 to €1000, and is an investment in the life of an underprivileged woman. With this gift, she is able to start her own business, so she can become self-sufficient. This creates a promising future for her and her children. Debt-free, because she will not be asked to repay this gift. With the profit she makes from the gift she received, she in turn will invest in a promising future of another woman in India: ‘Pay it forward’._
Teachers at Star University will go out of their way to engage their students and inspire them to enquire and learn. The Purple Academy gives women in India a chance to apply their unique skills and expand their horizons by learning something new and applying new knowledge to the business.
